Mansell commissioned us to come up with a full branding response and the delivery of their graphics for this large MOD site in Wiltshire.
The concept was derived from street names on the site which all relate to Canadian cities. Colours were selected to soften the visual, in contrast to the military-esque font selection which remains loyal to MOD usage.
The foil blocked over print adds a new dimension and lifts the overall feel to that of a really quality product, as do the bespoke slip cases that house all volumes.
Working with a wider team including Watkins Grey Architects the book design itself is fairly simple, retaining style throughout, but letting the scheme design dominate the page layouts.
