This project is a major area regeneration project centred on the post-war Ardler Estate in North Dundee.
A number of monolithic slab blocks were demolished and 1,080 new mixed tenure homes are being built in phases.
Residents were intensively consulted about the design of the scheme and the dwellings. The community support we achieved during the design development process led to a positive ballot (87% voted yes) to transfer to the RSL landlord.
Housing Partnership Funding and cross subsidy from private development combined with other mainstream funding in a partnership between developers, residents and Dundee City Council.
