
James joined HTA in 2003 to establish the landscape design service.
He has a background in design for interdisciplinary regeneration projects and is responsible for design quality and business development throughout the landscape design portfolio.
James has led numerous landscape design projects for HTA including a number of award winning English Partnerships’ sponsored flagship schemes, an HLF funded public park renovation in Stevenage and an award winning estate regeneration scheme in Hackney, London. HTA Landscape Design’s client list includes many of the UK’s top housebuilders, developers, Local Authorities and RSLs working both with HTA’s architectural team and external design teams.
Claudia joined HTA Architect’s landscape department in 2004 and has been engaged in a wide portfolio of projects from regeneration schemes to competitive bid submissions and delivery of schemes on site. She has been one of HTA’s Landscape Design Leaders since 2007 and is involved in the project and team management of HTA Landscape and she is experienced in working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide sophisticated site specific solutions to developers’ needs.

Oliver Rock has over 12 years experience in public and private practice as a Landscape Architect and joined HTA Landscape in 2006 as Landscape Team Leader. He has particular expertise in the design, implementation and management of projects in public parks and the public realm.
He has just completed the implementation of the first phase of the redevelopment of Stevenage Town Centre Gardens having successfully completed the master planning of the park and HLF Stage II bid to secure £2.4 million funding for the project.
He is also project manager and lead consultant for Great Lines Heritage Park in Medway. Managing a team of nine consultants in the preparation of a vision, masterplan and the detailed design for the first phase of work on site.
Other projects include Hanham Hall in Bristol, the HCA’s flagship Carbon Challenge scheme, masterplanning of a 30 hectare park running through the UK’s largest sustainable urban extension in Ironstone, Telford; production of Design Codes for a new 2500 unit development adjacent to a SSSI reservoir in West Hendon and the design of a new urban square in Hackney.
