Planning Permission achieved

HTA Planning has successfully assisted the London Borough of Islington to achieve planning permission for the redevelopment of Charles Simmons House on Farringdon Road, next to the Mount Pleasant Sorting Office.

The re-development will result in 25 new homes with 14 social rent and 11 private providing much needed accommodation for local residents of the Borough.

The scheme includes a new replacement community centre for residents of the Margery Estate, and a flexible A1/A3/D1 unit and provision of play space for residents of the Estate.

The new building has been designed by local architects Brady Mallalieu and will create an attractive contemporary building on this important an prominent junction which spans over two railway tunnels.
