Royal Festival Hall
HTA's band of sketchers recently headed down to the South Bank to draw the comings and goings of concert-goers at the Royal Festival Hall. The foyer spaces, terraces, staircases and river views were all recorded in the team's sketchbooks. We were also joined by a client and an established artist from the Urban Sketchers group.
The fine detailing of balustrades from 1951 caught our eye as well as the generosity of space that flows through the building, and we all captured the buzz of people reading newspapers, working on laptops, enjoying a glass of wine, and absorbed with their iPhones!
