Mulberry Park and Foxhill Estate Regeneration

Voting for Mulberry Park and Foxhill in the National Urban Design Awards is now open!

HTA have been shortlisted for a Practice Award in the National Urban Design Awards 2017 for the Mulberry Park and Foxhill Estate Regeneration in Combe Down, on the southern fringes of Bath.

You can vote for HTA here: http://www.udg.org.uk/UDA2017

Working intensively with our client Curo for the last three years and in consultation with the local authority, the HCA as well as the local community and stakeholders, HTA's masterplan includes the redevelopment of the former MOD site Foxhill with 700 homes, retail spaces, a new primary school and community hub to enable the regeneration of the adjacent Foxhill Estate with an additional 700 homes and further neighbourhood convenience retail spaces.

A new large park is centrally located between the two developments tying them together, and is complemented by a woodland walk of more natural character and smaller neighbourhood open spaces with door step play for small children. Cross connections are made across both areas creating a new cohesive neighbourhood and improving access to the new facilities and remaining village for the existing residents and providing additional homes for this growing community.

Phase 1 of the construction is well underway and the first homes will be ready for occupation later this year!
