Landscape Architect

Master in Landscape architecture, the University of Sheffield, Merit

Chao is a Chartered Landscape Architect with four years experience in both the UK and abroad. Chao Joined HTA in 2017 and has been a dedicated team member of the Camberwell Union, Olympic Way and Trent Park phase 4 projects/planning applications amongst the others.

Before joining HTA, Chao worked for Fabrik Landscape (London), Spacehub (London) and Overseas Erlin Landscape Design (China) on a wide variety of projects.

She has developed skills in urban regeneration, public realm, office, mixed use, stadium (Brentford Stadium), residential development and educational projects. Chao has a particular interest in public realm and creative workspace design. Some of her key projects are Ted Baker’s Head Quarter at Kings Cross, Camberwell Union and Pall Mall Creative workspace.

As well as early stage creative design, Chao also has valuable detail design experience which include: London Road, Stephenson Street, South Quay Plaza phase 4, Goodman’s Field phase 2,3 and 4 at Aldgate East, One Blackfriars.

Chao is also very competent in BIM. She was the BIM manager of Wembley Plot 06 and has delivered Fulham Riverside phase 2 and City North as a key team member.

Other significant projects that Chao has worked on include: Gascoigne Estate, Silvertown Way, Swandon Way and Malt Street Regeneration at Old Kent Road. Chao is currently working on Stonebridge Site 29/30 and Copley Castle Bar.
