Daniel joined the HTA Edinburgh office in September 2013 as an Architectural Assistant.

Daniel studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and University of Edinburgh, graduating with a Masters of Architecture with Distinction. Whilst studying for his masters, he won UK 1st place in the Isover student competition, for a sustainable neighbourhood design in Nottingham, presenting his work at the Excel Centre in London, and Bratislava. In his final year he was awarded UK 2nd place in the same competition with a different brief for his design of a sustainable residential development in Mannheim, Germany.

During university, Daniel also worked in several architecture practices including RKD Architects in Dublin, and the Edinburgh office of 10 Design.

At RKD Daniel was part of the team that redeveloped University College Dublin Science Centre and Whitestown Way. While at 10 Design, he was tasked with designing townhouses for a large development in Izmir, Turkey, and later producing marketing documentation.

At present, Daniel is assisting in the completion of construction drawings for Castleward and Furze Street; both large residential projects, as well as preliminary designs for a hotel in London. Previous to this, he worked on detailing for Walthamstow Stadium.
