Eleni Stathi

Eleni joined HTA as an architectural assistant in 2005, became an architect in 2007 and an Associate in 2013. Prior to her professional practice training at the Bartlett, Eleni studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow where she graduated with a first class honours degree and a diploma in architecture.

AT HTA, Eleni is a project leader for key projects within the practice. Her experience includes jobs at all RIBA Work Stages from inception to delivery. In her role she is responsible for the design and everyday management of projects as well as liaising with clients, consultants and authorities to coordinate the design process.

Eleni, has previously worked for JT and Partners where she was involved in preparing planning applications for residential schemes in St Albans and Oxford. As a trainee she also worked for Annand and Mustoe in Cambridge in a range of small scale residential, educational, and healthcare projects.

Over the years Eleni has gained experience in large scale regeneration projects, in particular the Sheerwater Regeneration proposals in Woking and the regeneration of the South Acton Estate in Ealing. 

Through this experience, she has gained considerable knowledge in working with a variety of external stakeholders, from Planning Departments to local residents and interest groups.

She has a keen interest on urban design and understands the value that community engagement adds in shaping successful places.

Through her involvement in the Greenford Green project, Eleni has also gained an insight into the design of ‘Build to Rent’ homes, a growing sector in the UK housing market.

Eleni has led the design and detailing of projects such as Phases 1 and 2 of the New Homes for Luton programme and the planning proposals of Bearbrook House in Aylesbury. She has also been involved in the Design for Manufacture competitions and the development of the 360 flats in Gibraltar.

Currently Eleni is leading the design of two regeneration projects in Bromley, a regeneration project in Brent and has recently completed a design competition for a mixed use scheme in London.
