The scheme comprised the demolition of an existing office building, Sinclair House, and the construction of two new medium rise towers of mixed use. Construction of both blocks is in-situ concrete slabs with facing brickwork, with rendered or rainscreen cladding to the elevations.
The southern edge of the boundary overlooks the main London Paddington railway, which required sound insulating glazing to the south elevation. Site access levels vary along the western boundary which enabled basement car parking with natural cross ventilation of the carpark and access to commercial units.
The scheme is designed to achieve an EcoHomes ‘Very Good’ rating.
