We were separately appointed as Project Manager, as well as Architect and Landscape Architect, for the design and delivery of 530 new Government-sponsored affordable homes in Gibraltar. We coordinated the UK design team, through the detailed planning process and then onto site, liaising closely with the Government client and local Statutory Authorities throughout the process.
Once working drawings had been produced we conducted a European procurement process to select a Contractor for the scheme. A Spanish Contractor was eventually chosen, from a range of organizations from across Europe and the contract has been delivered through a traditional JCT 98 arrangement.
Detailed monthly reports to the client, ongoing comprehensive Risk Registers and Issues Logs, updated programmes and financial summaries have all kept the client fully up-to-date with project progress and key decisions on all aspects of project cost, quality and programme.
