London Fire stations wayfinding

We’ve been working with Kier and London Fire Brigade for a number of years, to design all of their signage for nine new fire stations currently under construction in Central London. Working alongside BDP Architects, HTA’s Communications team have ensured a bespoke, quality finish to all internal and external wayfinding, including stainless steel fret cut lettering, LFB brand boxes, all floor directories and large numericals, door signage, window decals and room identification numbering.

Ensuring the product matches the LFB brand through colour specification, materiality, texture and finish, whilst complementing the Architects interior design scheme was integral to the successful functionality of the building. The first of the nine stations to complete, Old Kent Road was handed over in March 2015.
