Kicking off our events for LFA 2025 #Voices, we spent a slightly raining evening amongst coots, ducks, and songbirds at Eden Dock.
Sheltered under umbrellas, our panelists considered how we can give voice to overlooked urban assets, and how waterside spaces can become a flexible and democratic element in city life.
Just two years after the concept was formed, Eden Dock opened to the public in October 2024 and has become a destination in the neighbourhood. This network of floating pontoons and aquatic islands is testament to the benefit of good-quality public realm and celebrates Canary Wharf’s dockside character.
A huge thank you to our speakers for their insight into the design, construction, biodiversity and public value of Eden Dock (and for being unphased by the elements).
