Griffin Park Redevelopment Secures Planning Permission

Planning approval has been granted for Griffin Park, in Hounslow. The former ground of Brentford Football Club is proposed to deliver a public green along with 149 new homes, designed by HTA for EcoWorld.

The project will deliver a mix of houses and apartments with private gardens, shared amenity spaces, and a central green that includes children’s playspace and residents’ allotments. The masterplan is organised around four character areas, The Green Apartments, The Mews, North and South Streets, and Braemar Road, each designed to improve permeability and integrate with the surrounding street network.

HTA developed the design in response to a brief focused on context, community, and heritage. The proposal includes a flexible community space and an estate hub at ground level, supporting both day-to-day use and long-term management of the site.
