HTA shares their design process for a new garden in The Regent’s Park

5 Aug 2025

HTA Landscape spent an afternoon with The Royal Parks to discuss the design process behind the new garden in The Regent’s Park, to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
Designed in the spirit of 19th-century horticulturalist William Robinson, the two-acre garden will feature climate-resilient planting, wildflower meadows, a floating promenade, and species of personal significance to Her Late Majesty.

Pushing the boundaries of sustainable gardening, the design makes innovative use of reclaimed materials while honouring the traditions of one of London’s most historic landscapes.
The new garden will be a lasting tribute and a place for reflection, resilience and reconnection with nature.
