HTA Take Part in Bulb Planting in Regents Park

10 Dec 2025

Nearly 200 members of the public helped plant spring bulbs in new garden to honour Queen Eizabeth II.

The Garden, that is still under construction, welcomed the public on Saturday for the very first time to help plant over 5,000 bulbs ahead of its official opening in spring 2026. Participants planted a variety of spring bulbs, including tulips, alliums, and grape hyacinths, selected both for vibrant colour and to provide nectar and pollen for vital pollinating insects.

The event, led by the charity’s Help Nature Thrive conservation team, The Regent’s Park horticultural team and HTA Design, offered hands-on guidance on planting techniques and opportunities to learn about the garden’s design and benefits to biodiversity. It was a really great day with lots of enthusiasm despite the November weather.
