A moment of celebration at HTA!
At today’s NLA Awards Lunch, Eden Dock has won the Public Spaces Category and Kidbrooke Park Road North has been highly commended in the Housing Category.
“Congratulations to Howells and HTA Design, alongside Canary Wharf Group for their Eden Dock development, highly commended for the Mayor of London’s 2025 NLA Award for Placemaking at Density. The development is a nature-led placemaking scheme which shows how we can be more ambitious in shaping public spaces. By weaving together London’s Docklands heritage with a vibrant, high-density environment, the project puts biodiversity, inclusion, and education at its core.”
And in a first for HTA, Kidbrooke Park Road North has won the Mayor’s Prize for Good Placemaking at Density, whilst Eden Dock has been highly commended for the Mayors Prize.
“I’m delighted to see this year’s Mayor’s Prize for Good Placemaking at Density awarded to HTA Design in collaboration with Greenwich Builds and RB Greenwich for Kidbrooke Park Road North. The scheme has transformed previously inaccessible brownfield land into a high density, sustainable council housing development, with play, amenity and community spaces at its heart, reflecting the Mayor’s commitment to designing a city that works for all”.
