The planning consent for One Lansdowne reflects our collaboration with Croydon planners, the GLA, and our client Greystar to deliver an architecture and public realm worthy of this prominent site.
Tower A is inspired by the richly articulated architecture of Louis Sullivan and the transformation of downtown Chicago and will stand at 50 storeys, whilst Tower B reflects the sculptural mid-century designs of Richard Seifert, whose nearby works helped define Croydon’s modernist identity in the 1950s. The buildings may differ in palette, composition, and façade geometry, but they share a common underlying structure, including the same footprint, plan organisation, and overall vertical emphasis.
