HTA Design’s Planning team is supporting Hackney Council’s ambitious programme to deliver nearly 100 new council homes for social rent across five infill sites. Working with leading practices including Archio, Citizens Design Bureau, Al-Jawad Pike, Balaam Murphy and NOOMA Studio, the planning team are helping to shape and secure proposals that prioritise sustainability, liveability and high-quality design.
From new family homes at Fellows Court to Passivhaus-standard housing at the Nye Bevan Estate, each scheme has been carefully developed in collaboration with residents and local stakeholders. HTA’s planning expertise ensures these much-needed homes can move confidently through the approvals process, contributing to Hackney’s goal of starting 1,000 new council homes by 2026.
