Pride Month at HTA

This Pride Month, HTA was proud to support Not a Phase, a trans-led UK charity dedicated to uplifting trans+ adults through awareness campaigns, community projects, and funding trans-led initiatives. Thanks to our charity breakfasts in the London and Edinburgh studios, we raised £340 in support of their vital work. Thank you to chefs Sue and Craig for making this possible.

On 18th June, we were delighted to host the Proud Leaders in Housing summer event in partnership with HouseProud and PlanningOut. The evening brought together LGBTQIA+ professionals and allies from across architecture, planning, and housing for meaningful conversations, new connections, and shared experiences.

The event opened with a powerful panel discussion featuring industry leaders reflecting on their journeys as LGBTQIA+ individuals in the built environment:

• Helen Randall, Chair, Stonewall Housing
• Patrick Franco, CEO, Notting Hill Genesis
• Barbara Brownlee, Chief Executive, Soho Housing Association
• Andy Hulme, Group Chief Executive, Hyde Group

We also reunited across studios for our third annual Pride Pub Quiz, filled with Pride-themed trivia and camaraderie. Special thanks to Hasan from our Edinburgh studio for hosting and curating another fantastic quiz night.
