Brompton Cemetery is the first public cemetery to receive funding under the ‘Parks for People’ grant scheme. The project focuses on the cemetery’s needs and values, people engagement and legacy. From the start, local community groups, users and visitors were involved in the design and development of the restoration plans and consulted throughout.
