Sketch Club
This month Sketch Club heads back to the Barbican – a popular sketching haunt from previous years.
50 years ago this month the first residents moved into the Barbican Estate, built on a 40 acre bombsite on the edge of the Square Mile. The Grade II listed landmark is home to 4,000 residents and the Barbican Centre, City of London School for Girls, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
All are welcome to come along – we’ll leave the studio about 5.45pm. The nearest tube stations are Moorgate or Barbican.
We’ll meet up at the Foyer Bar on Level G after 7pm for lakeside drinks and to discuss what we’ve captured in our sketch books.
