Stephen Lawrence Trust Gala Dinner
On Thursday 29 November HTA and RIBA hosted a gala dinner to celebrate all the trust has achieved and to fundraise for its future.
Ticket sales, generous donations, pledges and an auction of items including limited edition prints and artwork by the Trust’s alumni raised over £115,000. All monies raised from this event will go directly to support the work of the Trust, giving young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the inspiration and support to follow their dreams.
Award winning chef Anthony Cumberbatch and the team at AC Lab, took guests on an amazing sensory journey, rediscovering ancestral flavours, aromas and textures while indulging yourself with exquisite creations inspired by African & Caribbean cuisines. The evening will also included live music, an auction of ‘money-can’t buy’ items, and the opportunity to hear from a couple of the young people the Trust works with about its impact on their lives.
