Greenford Quay wins a BALI Award
The British Association of Landscape Industries’ (BALI) is one of the most prestigious landscaping Awards in the industry.
Greenford Quay, Tillermans (submitted by Maylim) has won the award for Hard Landscaping Construction (non-domestic) – Over £500k category.
HTA had a team novated to work with Maylim for the length of the project and have worked hand in glove with them throughout to ensure that the project has been detailed to the highest standard.
A generous 40% of Greenford Green will consist of high quality public open space with the Grand Union Canal at its centre. The landscape masterplan defines new active public spaces created for a range of users to enjoy including residents, workers and visitors. The scheme forges new connections to the surrounding area including a new footbridge over the Grand Union Canal. The public realm incorporates a civic square, a canalside amphitheatre, streets and a series of communal courtyards provides a new destination and valuable amenity for the wider community.
