HTA's latest modular project, Gants Hill, completes.
The scheme consists of 321 modular student housing units. HTA worked closely with Tide Construction Limited, Vision Modular Systems and Redbridge Council to design a building sympathetic to local architectural character with featured landscaped gardens, generous communal space and a range of studio and cluster typologies.
The development site is located within Gants Hill District Town Centre, London borough of Redbridge and the Tall Buildings Zone. The site sits on Perth Road, in close proximity to the A12 and Woodford Avenue junction. The site is within 1.3 km of the North Circular (A406) offering convenient access to the M11 by car.
The site has a Public Transport Accessibility Level of 5. The nearest entrance to Gants Hill Tube Station on the Central Line is located within 30 metres walking distance of the site. Ilford Railway Station is located approximately 1.6 miles from the site. The site is well served by buses that stop on Eastern Avenue, Woodford Avenue and Cranbook Road. Valentines Park is situated in close proximity to the site and at 52 hectares is the largest green space in the London Borough of Redbridge.
