HTA's Sutton Estate part of Open House weekend

Last weeked, Open House London visitors explored the Sutton Estate in Chelsea, built in the 1900s and now being modernised to provide high quality, sustainable homes to benefit not just today’s residents but future generations.

HTA's aim is to secure the legacy of the estate, ensuring the history, stories and beauty of these historic buildings can be enjoyed for generations to come, fitting new to the old in a sympathetic way. The proposals also include extensive landscape transformation of the entire estate.

The tour was on the highlight list for the Open House weekend. It was fully booked and included residents as well as the general public.
