Nerea's Supurbia selected for the RA Summer Exhibition

HTA are thrilled that our illustrator, Nerea Bermejo’s drawing has been included in this year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

The RA Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission art show and brings together art in all mediums – prints and paintings, film, photography, sculpture, architectural works and more – by leading artists, Royal Academicians and household names as well as new and emerging talent. Around 1,200 works will be on display, most of them for the first time.

Nerea Bermejo worked with Ben Derbyshire to create a drawing representing Supurbia. Supurbia – is HTA’s strategy to increase the speed, scale and quality of housing provision in London’s suburbs – builds on their inherent advantages. It uses existing infrastructure and preserves the individuality of homes, easy access to private outdoor space, verdant environments and wider town settings while increasing both density and amenity value.

Visiting dates: 10 June — 12 August 2019
