Anu's role as brand designer is solely dedicated to the design, development and implementation of effective corporate brand materials across a wide range of different media. Her key focus is to develop and guide HTA's brand - helping to take the corporate brand to the next level across all areas of HTA's business.The role is based within the Communications Design team at HTA, but involves working across all the internal teams, coordinating all brand outputs.
Anu began her professional studies at the London Institute, Camberwell and went on to Coventry Univeristy to study Graphic Design. After leaving university, Anu began her career in graphic design at Catalyst Housing where she started as an in-house Graphic Designer in 2003. She quickly progressed her career, promoting the organisations corporate brand and developing the visual identity, embedding the brand within the organisation.By 2010 Anu was managing and promoting the corporate brand and organisation’s visual identity, providing strategic, financial and operational leadership. And delivering consistent brand experiences by way of promotional and creative strategies to help identify potential opportunities for growth to raise Catalysts' external presence within the sector.
As Brand and Design Manager, Anu also introduced and developed the production of a web to print system, empowering staff to take responsibility for corporate outputs whilst maintaining brand consistency. And also delivered in-house video production as a key communication tool, internally and externally, to promote Catalyst at events, online and across social media platforms. She developed her strength in PR and Event management through the delivery of high profile events including bi-annual conferences for 700+ employees and external events for national stakeholders. In 2015 she undertook a diploma in Event Management receiving a distinction and continued to blend her knowledge of brand management and event marketing to raise Catalysts profile within the sector.
Whilst working at HTA, Anu has focussed on the update and re-formatting of HTA’s existing brand materials including: Project Sheets, Fee Proposal documents, Marketing Brochures and Promotional Presentations ensuring brand consistency across all outputs. She has also worked on internal communications, delivering event materials and business updates for all staff and key stakeholders. As well as the delivery of awards and promotional materials for sector based events such as MIPIM and Eco-Build. And worked closely with the practice marketing team on Award submissions for the Housing Design Awards and New London Architecture ensuring strategic and operational needs are met.
