Senior Architect

Bernadette joined HTA at the beginning of 2018 and since then she has been leading the design from stage 4 to 7 for a new residential scheme of fifty-three flats in Longheath Gardens, one of the development part of Croydon Smaller Sites Programme.

Currently, She is involved in the stage 3 for the Phase 2nd of housing regeneration of New Avenue for Countryside Properties and London Borough of Enfield. Besides, she worked on the feasibility study for an Airspace Pilot Project for Savills on the behalf of the Slough Council and stage 3 for housing regeneration of the Ravensbury Estate in Mitcham.

Prior to joining HTA,  Bernadette worked in small and medium size practices where she has gained experience working on  small and medium scale site projects, focusing her work in residential, from new building to conversion and infill schemes, refurbishment and restoration projects and through the RIBA Work Stages from concept to later stages.

She was responsible for developing and working drawings for a pavilion within the Greenwich Park, a residential conversion in Brentwood and Wood Green and a renovation and refurbishment of a Grade II Building, Duke Street, London, for retail and office.

Alongside developing, detailing and coordinating package information, she has a good track record of liaising with contractors, consultants and authorities to coordinate the design process and ensure the projects are designed and delivered to high standard and in adherence to UK Building Regulations and NHBS Standards

Bernadette completed her studies and qualified as architect in Italy. During her work experience in Italy, she was mainly involved in restoration and conservation projects, as listed buildings damaged during the earthquake in 2009 in the city of L'Aquila.
