Architectural Assistant (Part II)
BArch, Pg Dip – Sustainable Architecture
Caitlin joined HTA in 2022. Based in our Bristol studio, she is a Part 2 Architectural Assistant who has contributed to a variety of projects with a focus on large-scale masterplanning and urban and suburban development within our Placecraft team.
As part of a significant masterplan project in Somerset, Caitlin has been assisting the Project Lead and Urban Designer on site analysis and concept design and has also played an important role supporting the team working on Coypool, a planning application for 450 homes on a former quarry site in Plymouth. She has been key in shaping the emerging design which integrates age-friendly living and a new community centre.
Caitlin is skilled in sustainable design having completed her Part 2 in Sustainable Architecture, at the Centre of Alternative Technology, a specialist centre dedicated to the development of environmentally responsive architecture. Caitlin is committed to sustainable housing and the critical importance of resilient new places. Her education at CAT has given her a strong knowledge of Passivhaus, BREEAM and other sustainability standards.
