Camassia Bruce
Graduate Landscape Architect
BA (Hons) Fine Art, MLA (Dist)
Camassia is a Graduate Landscape Architect based in our Edinburgh studio and supporting members of our landscape team based in Nottingham. Since joining HTA in 2022 she has worked on several public realm and masterplan projects across a range of scales from early-stage design through to construction.
On the Hillside Estate redevelopment at St John’s Way in Islington, Camassia is responding to a naturally complex site in terms of topography and the existing treescape. At the Benhill Estate in Sutton, she is working on a public realm design which is restorative in its approach to biodiversity.
Camassia is interested in how we involve local communities in the design of their neighbourhoods. As part of this, she was involved in developing community engagement sessions focused on re-greening the Benhill Estate.
Camassia’s diligent and methodical work ethic has enabled her to play an active role in our large-scale masterplanning projects such as the Boots Enterprise site in Nottingham and the Bermondsey Project in London.
