Although working at HTA is Dan’s first full-time position he has experience working both at Foster + Partners as well as smaller local architecture firms before commencing his undergraduate degree in the discipline.

At HTA, Dan has worked on a number of projects including:

Beech Tree Place

Dan worked closely with the project leader to draw up proposals to present to residents at a series of consultation events.

Wensley Road

Both pre & post planning Dan has worked closely with the team in the Bristol office to design and communicate an effective solution to Reading’s desire for more affordable housing in the form of an infill estate regeneration.

Shoeland’s Court

This feasibility study was presented to the client after they decided to develop the aging, flood-prone site. Dan produced 2D diagrams to explain the scheme and a 3D massing model to bring it to life.

Fitch Court

This detailed capacity study built on work completed by HTA in 2016. The new, reduced site area has potential to be the focus of a sensitive yet dense new development in the heart of Brixton, Dan once again took charge of the 3D modelling and 2D diagrams.

Wensley Road, Reading

The team are producing Stage 3B tender drawings further to the planning application submitted at the start of 2020. Dan’s role varies, often making use of his 3D modelling skillset to build and manage the Sketchup models, however he is also found producing site sections, rendering visualisations, contributing towards design decisions, drawing site wide diagrams or visiting site to meet with the residents.
