Emma joined HTA in March 2020 and works within the London office’s Landscape Team. Since joining HTA she has adapted to working from home and is currently working on the planning submission for Padnall Lake in Barking and Dagenham and the regeneration of Sutton Estate in Chelsea.
Emma has worked in London for the past 6 years and her experience includes public consultations, concept design, planning submissions through to tender packages and on-site delivery. Emma enjoys the community engagement on projects and encouraging residents to embrace their landscape. She helped create a gardening initiative so that residents could be empowered to look after their green space by creating starter gardening kits and delivering planting workshops, showing them how to cultivate herbs and bulbs in their raised planters.
More recently she embraced an opportunity to collaborate with a Design Studio in China creating festival landscape interventions from concept to construction. Emma spent time in Shenzhen helping to deliver these show gardens which was a very fast paced process and required an immaculate finish.
