Farhan joined the Edinburgh office in September 2019 and his main role is to assist Project Architects on a range of current projects where he has worked on projects in Concept and Pre-Planning Stages.
Farhan gained experience during his year out at MAST Architects. Working on various projects across Glasgow, Including various new build housing developments. Also having a chance to work on a community-based project within Glasgow. A retained facade with a new shell to hold the occupants creating a new hub for the community.
During his studies at University of Strathclyde, he worked part time in a small firm to have a better understanding of the industry and to gauge an a idea of the type of work he would be progressing on to.
Having completed his Postgraduate in Advanced Architectural Studies, Farhan then started as a Part II at BMJ Architects where he worked more on healthcare side of Architecture. Gaining valuable experience with a large-scale project at BIM Level 02 to give him the understanding of project & coordinating file management on a project in research and lab facilities.
At present Farhan is working on the early stages of a large mixed-use masterplan for a site in Sutton.
