Senior Architect

Janita was project lead for the DfMA Assessment of Barking Riverside, delivering the project to a high degree of client satisfaction. The assessment involved developing standardised blocks and flat layouts and producing a DfMA-Optimised Masterplan and Design Code. 

Janita worked for various design-led practices prior to joining HTA. In her last role for Architecture Initiative, she was responsible for construction detailing for the Northampton International Academy, which won the RIBA East Midlands Award 2019. She first started working in London for architecture practice FAT for five years. After FAT closed office in 2014, she joined DSDHA.

At DSDHA, she was project architect for the Alex Monroe jewellery studio on Tower Bridge Road, a RIBA London Award 2018 winner. At FAT, her most notable experience was her involvement in Grayson Perry's A House for Essex for Living Architecture, working on planning drawings and then design coordination for construction. She also worked on the BBC Studios in Cardiff during planning stage. 

Janita is currently a team member of Meridian One, a residential development in Enfield which aims to deliver 1000 homes with 50% affordable housing.
