Architectural Technologist

Josh joined HTA in 2016 on Colin’s team after having spent two and a half years working as a Junior Architectural Technologist at Ingleton Wood – a medium sized multi-disciplinary practice based in Aldgate, East London. During his time there, Josh assisted in the production of construction stage drawings for a large-scale residential scheme in the Regents Park area, a Pupil Referral Unit in Thurrock, and led the delivery of a small-scale residential scheme in Norwich. Josh was also involved in project co-ordination across the practice including building control compliance for schemes in and around London.

Prior to this Josh studied Architectural Technology at Southampton Solent University where he gained his BA (Hons) degree. Shortly after graduating in 2013, he spent 6 months travelling in New Zealand, Fiji, Australia and South-East Asia.

Now at HTA, Josh has assisted in producing Design Stage 4 drawings for the off-site/modular Creekside Wharf scheme in Greenwich for Essential Living. He is now Project Lead for Block 1A within the HTA masterplan scheme - Rochester Riverside, for Countryside Properties.

In June 2017, the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) elected him Chair of CIAT AspirATion Greater London – a body that engages with other governing bodies, young professionals, current students and universities in maintaining the Institute’s active role in the region of London. Josh is currently progressing his Associate CIAT membership towards Chartered status.
