Kirsten’s experience ranges in projects of different scales from suburban greenfield and brownfield sites to larger urban regeneration sites. In her role she is responsible for the everyday running of projects, producing concept and developed design drawings and documents, presenting at meetings, as well as corresponding with clients and consultants.

Kirsten joined HTA in September 2019 as an Architect.

Kirsten has worked for various practices prior to joining HTA. The first practice she worked for in London in 2015, as a Part II Architectural Assistant, was MDR Associates (now Fuse Architects), where she began gaining experience predominantly in the planning stages of medium scale, residential projects. Kirsten then went on to join BPTW, where she covered a broad range of the RIBA work stages, including planning applications, bids and managing the completion of the BPTW office fit out. She completed her Part III at Kingston University in 2017, whilst working at BPTW. A brief period at OWAL Architects, provided Kirsten with experience in MMC, particularly modular, factory production drawing packages, before she joined HTA.

Kirsten is currently a team member of Meridian One Phase 1B; a complex, large scale regeneration project in Enfield, which aims to deliver 1000 homes with 50% affordable housing. Kirsten is the project architect for Plot B and has been responsible for producing concept and developed design drawings and documents, presenting at meetings, as well as coordinating the inputs of other team members and consultants.

Kirsten has also worked on the DfMA Assessment of Barking Riverside, assisting with the delivery of the project to a high degree of client satisfaction. The assessment involved developing standardised blocks, flat layouts and balconies, producing a DfMA-Optimised Masterplan and accompanying Design Codes.
