Salim Amir
Architect and Senior BIM Technician

Salim is trained in architectural design, technology and BIM. The breadth of his skill enables him to work with our architectural teams at all RIBA Stages, on every type of project. He liaises with our landscape architecture, interiors, planning and sustainability teams to streamline project delivery.

Previously, Salim has worked at several award-winning practices including EPR Architects, Broadway Malyan, and Pilbrow & Partners. During this period, he was responsible for authoring BIM protocols, guidance, and practice standards, referencing the UK BIM Framework, ISO and British Standards. To support best practice across the whole team, he implemented staff training on BIM strategies and workflows.

Salim has a well-rounded understanding of Architecture, Engineering & Construction software and hardware. He is well-informed on future trends in BIM and has a keen interest in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics and Editorial Layouts.

Keen to support the next generation of built environment professionals, Salim has applied his knowledge and experience to mentoring at the University of Westminster and London School of Architecture National Saturday Club programme.
