Shawn joined HTA in November 2020 and since joining, Shawn has worked on the Winstanley and York Road Estate redevelopment and Gascoigne East.
Shawn is a Part II Architectural Assistant at HTA who is passionate about social housing and community engagement. He graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a First-Class Honours in Architecture then completed a master’s in architecture at the Royal College of Art. His final year master’s project at the Royal College of Art won the Architects’ Journal Student prize and was featured in the Financial Times. He joined the practice in 2020 and has worked on several masterplanning projects across London.

Shawn has worked on the Winstanley and York Road Estate redevelopment, north of Clapham Junction. This is a complex, multistage project which will see the redevelopment of both York Gardens and the surrounding estate to provide circa 2,500 new homes as well as a mix of community facilities as part of a landscape focused masterplan.
