Stella is an architect, urban designer and researcher with experience in the UK and Greece and joined HTA in 2016.

During her time at HTA she has been highly involved in the development of an outline planning application for Rochester Riverside, a 1400 dwelling masterplan for Countryside Properties which was granted permission in 2017 and work is currently progressing on site. In 2018, she worked on the construction stages of Block F at Chelsea Creek, a high-end residential development for St George. She assisted with various design changes and developed detailed design packages for the 4 penthouse units. Since 2019 she is part of the Greenford team working on the delivery of the Greenford Quay masterplan, one of HTA’s major current projects for Greystar. She is currently working on Block 4, the second building on site, coordinating the modular elements of construction and producing numerous detailed design packages.

She graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) in 2015 with a Master of Architecture in Urban Design. Her research and thesis focused on complex large-scale design problems arising from conflicts in the Mediterranean and the Arab region. Her thesis, States in a City, proposed a phased post-war reconstruction strategy and design proposal for Aleppo in Syria.

Stella graduated with a Master of Architecture in 2013 from the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. In academia she developed an interest in urban transformations and the opportunities that emerge from complex briefs. In Athens, she explored the regulatory framework of council estate areas and proposed high level regeneration strategies and design proposals using modern methods of construction. Throughout her experience in academia, Stella participated in national and international design workshops which allowed her to continuously explore new methods of design and teamworking.

Since joining HTA, Stella developed further her experience in the UK housing sector, having worked on a range of residential schemes across all scales and RIBA work stages. Stella understands the design process across all scales and is able to question and think through problems. Her experience ranges from high level strategic planning and large-scale regeneration schemes to the delivery of traditional and off-site modular housing projects.

While at HTA, she completed the Professional Studies in Architecture Part 3 (ARB/RIBA) at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
