Vicky joined HTA in September 2019 as a Sustainability Consultant. Having an architectural background and holding an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from University College of London, she specialises in energy performance of residential and commercial schemes.
Vicky is a Passive House Designer and an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor, advising clients with the most innovative, energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions. Using her advanced skills in dynamic thermal modelling and daylight simulations as well as working closely with the design teams, she ensures that healthy and high-quality spaces are being designed.
Prior to HTA, Vicky has worked as an Architect in large scale retail and mixed-use developments, gaining valuable experience in detailed design and construction techniques. She has also worked as an Environmental Specialist, collaborating with clients and design teams and delivering efficiently thermal comfort, overheating, daylight and glare assessments for planning and post-planning applications. She has additionally been involved in detailed thermal bridging calculations and is particularly interested in closing the performance gap between the designed and actual performance of buildings.
At HTA Vicky has worked on several services of different schemes, delivering successfully Sustainability and Energy Statements, Overheating, Daylight and Sunlight and BREEAM assessments. She has participated in workshops and contributed in writing articles related to recent consultations on Part L and zero carbon targets.
Vicky’s recent portfolio includes College Road Tower in Croydon, Parkhouse Street in Camberwell, Elephant Park in Elephant & Castle, Rosebery Gardens in Sutton and The Lakes in Milton Keynes. She has recently started working on Life Cycle Assessments trying to quantify and measure the environmental impact of HTA’s projects and identify areas of improvement.
