Zach joined HTA Design’s London team in August 2019 as an Architectural Assistant, Part 1. He undertook his undergraduate studies at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where his interest in research-led design responses to housing and placemaking are reflected across his academic projects which sit at the intersection of housing and entertainment architectures.
Prior to joining HTA Design, Zach has previously worked in local UK housing practices alongside gaining international experience as an Architectural Assistant at Serie Architects; helping the Project Architect produce high-rise residential and leisure schemes in tandem with bids for cultural projects throughout Northern Europe, Singapore and Malaysia. Developing on his previous experience working with tall residential buildings, Zach is currently assisting on our modular team’s sites across London, helping to deliver affordable, mixed-tenure and co-living units. His role to date has seen him support the Project Architect in producing drawings, models, and consultation materials for College Road, an 869-unit co-living tower in Croydon, South London, through pre-planning and planning.
