Project Light is a multi-phased 3.1ha dockside regeneration scheme in Southwark which received planning consent in 2012. It is a joint venture between Notting Hill Housing and Sellar Design & Development, and HTA have been appointed as lead landscape architect working with Macreanor Lavington Architects and Aecom as project managers.
The first phase will deliver approx. 235 new homes, a 3000sqm communal garden at podium level and new public realm to the historic waterside. This phase is currently under construction and will be completed by the end of 2018. HTA are appointed directly to the contractors, Ardmore.
HTA Landscape are also working on the Reserved Matters Applications for two future phases. The works include a new public square facing the Canada Water Basin, multiple rooftop and communal amenity spaces and streetscapes that integrate with future development in the neighbouring sites
