Strawberry Star Homes approached HTA Design to produce a cross discipline, Mid-Market Housing Design Guide to use across their current and future developments. The aspiration was to combine the clients brand values and focus on creating a series of beautiful, well designed apartment typologies, to demonstrate best practice in design standards, innovation and to meet the demand of the target audience. The architectural layouts ranged in size from studios, 1bed, 2bed and 3 bed units for both inner and outer London sites. The team developed various housing types narrowing the layouts down based on ‘Traditional’ cellular homes and ‘Open Plan’ apartments which were to be used for family and build to rent schemes respectively. Alongside this the interior team proposed two ‘look and feel’ mood boards for the range of units with a standard and enhanced specification, focusing on neutral colour palettes that where based on the Strawberry Star corporate branding colours
The graphics, wayfinding and website branding complimented the architecture and interior design by setting out a series of persona to create a brand message that all Strawberry Star sites could follow. By creating company brand guidelines and rules to follow, each site can have its own individual identity and style, whilst fitting within the overarching company brand which identifies the scheme as a Strawberry Star product.
