Biodiversity Net Gain

We believe every site should support biodiversity, creating places where people live alongside nature. Our landscape designs extend beyond site boundaries, contributing to nature recovery networks at both local and landscape scales.

At Cator Park in Greenwich, we worked with London Wildlife Trust to deliver one of London’s largest nature recovery networks using a biophilic approach, resulting in a 160% biodiversity gain. The project is featured in Defra’s Biodiversity Net Gain report.

At Eden Dock in Canary Wharf, our landscape design delivers a 100% uplift in predicted ecosystem service value and reduces urban heat island effects by 10%. With a 55% biodiversity net gain, the scheme enhances ecological connectivity and sets a precedent for transforming underused infrastructure into climate-resilient, nature-rich spaces.
