Four shortlists in this year Planning Awards 2023

Kidbrooke Park Road – North has been shortlisted for increased housing delivery category.

Kidbrooke Park Road is the regeneration of a brownfield site to create 117 well designed homes with public realm and a nursery that caters to both residents and public. The proposed scheme will be 100% affordable and achieve net zero carbon. HTA Planning have been strategic in their engagement through consideration of key planning and development issues, options, and risks. They have led a multidisciplinary team on identifying stakeholder interests, key design paraments and meaningful engagement with residents to secure an exemplary scheme. The project will kickstart the delivery of 500 London Affordable rent homes and new community facilities, by delivering new homes and a nursery as well as significant environmental and social benefits.

Naked House, Enfield has been shortlisted in the affordable housing category.

Naked House is a highly innovative scheme that will allow first-time buyers to buy genuinely affordable homes that can be customised to respond to their owners’ unique requirements and to expand as their needs change. The development that The London Borough of Enfield supports will create a sense of community, the provision of a community garden and beautifully designed contextual and sustainable homes. More importantly, unlike most available dwellings, these homes will allow residents to custom fit their homes. In addition, the design of the proposed homes is highly sensitive, relates well to the surrounding context, and is a modern interpretation of the existing built fabric. The homes also achieve high standards of sustainable design and construction.

Dagenham Green has been shortlisted for Planning Application of the Year and Best Use of Brownfield Land in Placemaking

Located on the Old Ford Stamping plant, Dagenham Green perfectly embodies this approach by placing green infrastructure and public realm at the heart of the masterplan with a highly legible network of streets, spaces and a new park that will significantly increase biodiversity, facilitate a wider urban nature recovery network and create a backdrop for the new community to thrive.
