AA4AH Good Homes For All London Launch

22 October 2026

Architects' Action for Affordable Housing (AA4AH) and Architects’ Journal (AJ) were joined by Lords, MPs, Councillors, developers, housing associations, campaigners and architects at the House of Commons for the London Launch of Good Homes for All 2.0.

Echoing AA4AH’s original affordable housing priorities, the book examines good design + density, healthy outcomes, low energy homes, homes built to last, and community first homes through exceptional examples of high-density housing across the UK.

Joe Powell MP, who invited AA4AH + AJ to host the event in the House of Commons spoke to the importance of good housing and the histroically fatal consequences of not providing high-quality homes, saying “you build it well, you built it once”.

Michael Keaveney, who writes the forward to Good Homes for All 2.0, proposed that good housing is beneficial to the economy. When people are provided with safe, enjoyable homes they are able to focus their energies elsewhere, be that in work, personal development, or on their families.

Jay Morton, RIBA President Elect and AA4AH campaigner, reiterated the responsibility we have as an industry to direct good design.
