Senior Architect

With her strong experience in both production and team supervision, Alessia’s expertise lays into understanding complex projects and being able to organize and coordinate all the different multidisciplinary requirements and successfully shape them into an organic proposal. 

Alessia joined HTA in March 2021 with the role of Architect. Her experience spans across residential, cultural, retail and mixed-use projects of various scales and complexity both in the UK and abroad. Prior to HTA, Alessia has been the project architect for the completion of the Stage3 of a 11.600 sqm mixed-use extensions in Brussels, as well as for a 600-units residential development in Dartford with 1.500 sqm of commercial space. 

Before joining HTA Alessia has worked in several small practices in Italy and in the UK. She graduated in Sustainable Architecture and qualified as architect at the IUAV in Venice. Upon arrival in the UK, she completed the Part 3 course at the Bartlett University. 

Alessia's key skills are: 

  1. Ability to organise the work effectively and coordinate team members and consultants 
  2. Attention to detail and production of high-quality reports and drawings 
  3. Flexibility to undertake different kind of tasks using a wide range of software 

One of Alessia's key projects is Chapel Place, Ilford, London 

A public realm-led, mixed-use development located in the Ilford’s town centre on a 2-hectare plot that has been the first Ilford Photo manufacturing site, and it’s now occupied by a Sainsbury’s. The proposal responds carefully to the need of a green public space, organizing 1200 new residential and student accommodation with a 35% affordable provision around a central park.
