BSc, MA Urban Design
Astrid has played a pivotal role in delivering strategic masterplanning and urban design projects across the UK - from Sustainable Urban Extensions of around 300 homes, to new innovative settlements of up to 10,000 homes.
She brings extensive experience in crafting compelling placemaking visions and concepts, using both narrative and sketching to bring proposals to life and clearly communicate design intent. Astrid is also highly experienced in progressing and leading Outline Planning Applications, including the preparation of Design and Access Statements, Design Codes, and Parameter Plans, alongside undertaking research to strengthen our understanding of the built environment.
Astrid believes that truly successful places are shaped by more than plans alone—they must be vibrant, versatile, viable, and shaped by the people who use them: principles she refers to as the “Four V’s.”
