Daria Tsurkan
Architectural Assistant (Part I)
BArch

Daria is an architectural assistant in HTA’s Edinburgh Studio. Since joining the practice, she has gained hands-on experience working across Stages 2 to 4 on a diverse range of projects varying in scale, function and construction methods. Her contributions include assistance in developing detailed design and manufacturing drawings, creating visualisations, models, diagrams, research and various site studies.
She has been involved in medium to large scale residential and commercial schemes across the UK, and has developed a broad understanding of contemporary architectural practice and the complexities of delivering built environments. She brings a keen eye for design and a proactive approach to problem-solving and engaging with different aspects of the architectural process.
Driven by a passion for crafting meaningful and engaging spaces, Daria is particularly interested in how architecture can foster a sense of community and connection. In her personal explorations, she draws inspiration from concepts such as sacred geometry and spatial interconnectedness, ideas she aspires to integrate into her professional work.
